| Gardens speak to our souls. Here in Maine, where winter seems endless, our gardens restore out spirits. Come with me as I capture the mystery and beauty of your garden in vivid watercolors. I paint on location or from photographs. I use quality materials that will ensure lasting enjoyment of your artwork for generations. My grandmother was a watercolor painter who also created flowering gardens at her summer cottage in Weld, Maine. I used to love to visit with her and watch as she decoratively arranged fresh flowers for her dinner table. Even as a child, I appreciated the vibrant colors, and the patterns of filtered light displayed in her gardens. Now each time I paint flowers, I tap into those wonderful memories of years gone by, to create new ones with each stroke of my brush. |
